EYSC TRAVEL PROGRAM:

  • For players seeking a greater commitment to the game and a high level of competition.
  • While Travel Soccer comes with expectations and high standards, our philosophy is to teach girls and boys in a supportive, nurturing environment that emphasizes fun.
  • This program requires a higher level of commitment and participation. Travel is required.
  • Tryouts are required, and are held in the spring to place players on a team for the fall and spring season.

As players from the Ephrata Youth Soccer Club become more skilled, desire a more competitive soccer environment, and become willing to commit greater time to training and development, the EYSC Travel Soccer Program exists for them as a higher-level athletic experience.

Travel Soccer Evaluations
March & April 2026

For Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 Season

Players will be evaluated on both their soccer skills and their understanding of the game through the assessment process.

Pre-registration will be required and must be completed through the EYSC GotSport online registration system. There is no cost to participate in the evaluation. Click here to register:

Please note: All players – including those currently rostered on an EYSC travel team – are required to attend the evaluation for the upcoming season.

*** New Age Group Determination *** Per US Youth Soccer mandate, age group determination will be based on a calendar year of August 1st-July 31st. Please refer to the chart below. Additional information can be found at www.epysa.org/age-group-formation-2026-27-season.
Important note: As we are a smaller club, teams are often formed by combining age groups.

The evaluation schedule is as follows:

U9/U10/U11 Girls – Ephrata Church of the Brethren

First evaluation: Wednesday, April 1 – 5:45-7:00pm (5:30pm check-in)

Second evaluation: Wednesday, April 8 – 5:45-7:00pm (5:30pm check-in)

U12/U13 Girls – Ephrata Middle School Field #3

First evaluation: Monday, April 6 – 5:45-7:00pm (5:30pm check-in)

Second evaluation: Monday, April 13 – 5:45-7:00pm (5:30pm check-in)

U14/U15 Girls – Ephrata Middle School Field #1

First evaluation: Saturday, April 11 – 9:15-10:30am (9:00am check-in)

Second evaluation: Monday, April 13 – 5:15-6:30pm (5:00pm check-in)

U9/U10/U11 Boys – Ephrata Church of the Brethren

First evaluation: Tuesday, March 24 – 5:45-7:00pm (5:30pm check-in)

Second evaluation: Tuesday, April 7 – 5:45-7:00pm (5:30pm check-in)

U12/U13 Boys – Ephrata Middle School Field #3

First evaluation: Wednesday, April 8 – 5:45-7:00pm (5:30pm check-in)

Second evaluation: Wednesday, April 15 – 5:45-7:00pm (5:30pm check-in)

U15/U16/U17 Boys – Ephrata Middle School Field #1

First evaluation: Monday, April 6 – 6:00-7:30pm (5:45pm check-in)

On each date, check-in will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of evaluation, and warm-ups can begin immediately after checking in.

If your child is unable to attend the evaluation on the scheduled date(s), we will work with you to find another opportunity for your player to be evaluated. Injured players who are unable to attend the evaluation will still be considered for the travel teams. 

If we must cancel an evaluation due to inclement weather, we will notify you by email and announce a new evaluation date at that time.
